I first fell in love with this very special place on a snowy day in the winter of 2001, and it has been a joy to restore this beautiful historic private house. I am delighted that it is now widely acknowledged as one of the leading civil partnership and wedding venues in Suffolk and that it is also enjoyed by smaller groups of guests on our Country House Weekends.

It is a truly special place to enjoy not just because of its wonderful architecture, history, and the superb level of professionalism my household will provide you with. It is very much a private home, which means that unlike a hotel or other commercial and wedding venue in Suffolk, there will be no other guests to intrude on your visit.
