How can I arrange to visit the Hall:
You are welcome to visit the Hall, but by appointment only. This can be arranged by telephone (01379 788869) or email (enquiries@yaxleyhall.com) Midweek daytime and evening appointments are available; weekend appointments are subject to availability and can be limited, especially during the summer months.

How many guests can be accommodated:
Our maximum catering capacity is 150 guests. Our ceremony room is licensed to accommodate up to 60 guests, plus the wedding couple. The live video link between the ceremony room and the Drawing Room allows an additional 40 guests to view the ceremony downstairs. Outdoor ceremonies may be attended by up to 150 guests.

What happens if it rains when I've planned an outdoor ceremony:
Fine weather can of course never be guaranteed. Normally we will have a good indication of the anticipated weather forecast for your wedding day, If it is suspected that the weather will rule out an outdoor ceremony we will discuss other possibilities with you and, where necessary, move your ceremony inside the Hall, making use of the video link between rooms if required.

How much will my celebration cost:
Our RATES guide will provide an indication of the likely cost of your celebrations, for a specific quote based on your guest numbers and individual requirements please e-mail enquiries@yaxleyhall.com

What else will I need to budget for:
Only those elements of the day that are personal to you, such as your bridalwear and outfits, any flowers or decorations, your photography and any transportation, your wedding cake and any music or entertainment you wish to include, plus the registrars fees and wedding insurance.

Can we stay at the Hall:
Yaxley is a private home. For this reason, no wedding couples or guests may stay overnight. We do however have accommodation nearby as well as plenty of help and suggestions that you will find in the accommodation section.

How and when should I contact the registrar:
Your preferred wedding date, and ceremony time, should be confirmed as available with the registrar as soon as possible. Our local registry office is Gipping & Hartismere in Stowmarket, the registrars can be contacted on 01449 612054
