Our cottages are located just a few minutes away from Yaxley Hall in the thriving and historic market town of Eye. Eye is a delightful place to spend time either in one of its many cafes and antique shops or by visiting its magnificent Church and folly castle.

The beautiful cottages have been thoroughly and carefully refurbished by Dominic, whose style you will instantly recognise from Yaxley Hall. The same standards of design and comfort can be enjoyed in our historic cottages as at Yaxley Hall itself.

We are delighted to offer our wedding couples and/or their guests the opportunity of staying at our beautiful, newly refurbished 16th century Suffolk farmhouse for their wedding weekend.

Yaxley Hall’s Home Farm is the perfect rural retreat, and provides total seclusion, tranquility and a stunning level of contemporary luxury. It is located in Hemingstone, an easy 14 mile drive from Yaxley Hall straight down the A140.

The beautiful farmhouse has just finished a considerable period of careful restoration by Dominic Richards, whose style you will instantly recognise from Yaxley Hall. The same standards of design and comfort apply in a blend best described as “rural chic”.

Set in a walled garden, in the centre of 37 acres of its own private meadowland, our farmhouse can accommodate up to eight guests in its four double bedrooms. There are an additional two reception rooms, a separate dining room, two bathrooms and an en-suite shower room.

Everything you require is provided should you wish to self-cater and make the most of the handcrafted farmhouse kitchen. We are even happy to pre-prepare meals for you to warm up in the new Aga, with a full choice from the Yaxley Hall menus. Alternatively, for the ultimate luxury, we can arrange for a chef from Yaxley to visit and prepare brunch, a full evening meal, or afternoon tea.
